Wow! Over 100 referrals but only 5 referral bonus received?

It’s a simple 3 step process:

1. Link your BVN to your account
2. Fund your Flex Naira account with N100 or more using direct bank transfer
3. Fund either your Autosave account or your Safelock account with at least N1,000

For 1. Why is Piggyvest asking for your BVN? Does

Piggyvest want to have access to all your accounts and elope with your money?

Well no You need to link your BVN to your account for 2 reasons:

1. It’s used to verify your identity. Your details you used in registering for your BVN should correspond to the details you used to

register for your Piggyvest account.

2. More importantly: your BVN is used to set up a Piggyvest Flex Naira Bank account with Providus Bank where you can send and receive money from. This is why your BVN and your registration details on the app need to correspond because the

details you used in registration are also used in setting up this Piggyvest Bank account.

How do you add your BVN to your Piggyvest account?

Just go to your profile, look for where it says Get Flex Number as shown in the screenshot below and do so.

2. How do you fund your Flex

Naira account? By direct transfer from your bank account to the Flex Naira account. This is also why it’s important for you to add your BVN because it is needed to set up your Providus Flex Naira account.

To make this transfer, just copy the account number for your Flex naira

account, open your Bank app, select Providus Bank as the receiving Bank and send at least N100 to the account number you copied.

3. Finally, fund your autosave or safelock account with at least N1,000. This can easily be done from your card or from your flex naira wallet if

you have up to N1,000 there.

Here you have a choice: you can either use safelock to lock away N1,000 for a minimum of 10 days at 6% annual return which would add up to be N1.64 if you don’t want to leave your money in there for long or you can use Autosave and wait for the

end of the next quarter (which is 31 March, 30 June, 30 September or 31 December) to collect your money and get 10% annual returns on it.

After you do all these, then your N1,000 bonus would be released. But wait! You won’t get it immediately:

For the referral, the N1,000 bonus

would be in your safelock for 10 days and after that it would be released to your flex naira from which you can collect it at N0 fees

For the person whose referral link was used to sign up: your bonus would be released to your Flex Naira account at the date that was set for that

particular referral which you can find if you click on the referral’s details on your safelock balance page.
