Once upon a time, there was an oil boom in the great state of North Dakota. In fact, the local economy was so robust, strippers were making more money than most doctors.

Is it easy to say "I wish I hadn't made large donations to various mutual funds in the name of science?" Sure. Good judgment comes from experience. Today, the economy is still designed to work from the top of the pole all the way down. And most can't even get into the damn club.
