But see then you run the risk of those who don't LOOK disabled but ARE, making no income and being homeless. Where do we classify disability? Being able to walk? In that case lemme refer to fibromyalgia or MS, which take that away after a while.
Do we base it on ability to bend over, to pick things at least thirty pounds up? Again, fibro and MS. Also those with severe back issues, most of them couldn't do that consistently and cashiering nowadays REQUIRES you to stand unless your disability is VISIBLE TO THEM.
Do we base it on ability to talk, to communicate with our peers? AUTISM IS A GREAT EXAMPLE. It has a wide range of ways to fuck up someone's life... But it isn't visible to most unless you're throwing tantrums and being violent.
