@Dotemu @SEGA ...Monster Bash is a really fun and underappreciated arcade game that features a character similar to Adventure Time's Flame Princess even prior to her existing. How to expand the game could involve making the game into a quest, or adding a wave mode...
@Dotemu @SEGA ...Ghost House for the Sega Master System was kind of a spiritual successor to the game, but I can't help but feel that if a more literal sequel to Monster Bash was made with its exact cute little hero shooting lightning bolts, it would have been a better game...
@Dotemu @SEGA ...Plus, Ghost House was missing many monsters, and instead found the player finding many Dracula's. It needed to include variations in the larger monsters found. If it did, it would have been a second Castlevania, as it came out the same year of 1986.
@Dotemu @SEGA Other Sega games that DotEmu could restylize or make sequels to are Kung-Fu Kid for the Sega Master System, which features a cute character hero similar to Monster Bash, and also the game My Hero (Seishun Scandal).
@Dotemu @SEGA I'm sure that you've already had plenty of requests for Golden Axe and Altered Beasts, also. Honestly, a spree of you restylizing or sequelling Sega games - Sonic, Alex Kidd, Shining Force, Shinobi, Phantasy Star, Alien Storm - would be just fine.
@DotEmu @SEGA Though too simple of a game, yet still adorable in a way, even a restylize version of Sega's Champion Pro Wrestling arcade with its minimalism and menu choice of moves would be fun to see.
@DotEmu @SEGA @StudioPixelJP Even more honest, I tweeted early last week a request to Studio Pixel to make a game that combined Monster Bash, Dr. Chaos, and to pretend in his mind what a cute 2D version of Resident Evil would look like.
@DotEmu @SEGA @StudioPixelJP @dev1_official I also had a thought that it would be fun to see a Resident Evil Demastered that basically turned the first Resident Evil game into a Metroidvania Ghosts 'n' Goblins RE game.
@DotEmu @SEGA @StudioPixelJP @dev1_official @ponycanyon @Nintendo I have had in my head for more than a decade a sequel to Dr. Chaos that is still 2D and has the character shooting bullets from a gun similar to those found in U.N. Squadron (Area 88).
