A very unpopular Eurovision opinion:
The language rule isn& #39;t necessary. If someone prefers singing in English, let them do so, if they want to sing in Armenian while representing Lithuania let them do so. (1/2)
Everyone should be free to sing in the language they& #39;re most comfortable with, whether it& #39;s English or their native one. Songs sometimes sound better in English, sometimes they don& #39;t. Singers should have the right to experiment and chose what they feel is right for them. (2/2)
"English" isn& #39;t a synonym of "bad", "bad song", "bad lyrics", "generic" etc
Yes, sometimes revamps in English don& #39;t work out. Yes, I prefer the songs from Italy to stay entirely in Italian because I love how it sounds. But artists who prefer singing in English shouldn& #39;t be attacked for their decision.
