ok I forgot but thread of movies I’ve watched during lockdown :

I won’t go too much if I detail but lockdown for me watching like 3 movies a day sometimes sooo

1. Uncut Gems

it was good who would’ve thought I’d like an Adam sandler film but shit was soemtimes boring because it was long but the tension had meee

2. Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

It was watched. Scott is annoying like stfu. Ramona whore.

3. A Quiet Place

Sigh...Jim Halpert I got bored of you, only scene I really enjoyed was the bridge one but other than that..schleep feel like the changed the monsters abilities for convenience or sumn

4. Beetlejuice

After all the suspenseful shit I watched that day it was nice to watch something more slapstick so yea it was fun. Winona queen.

5. I.T

So late to this train but anyways I liked the cast and build up, but I wish I saw more about the characters personal lives too though. How they defeated the clown I forgot.. or just didn’t get but yea not bad !

6. Fighting With My Family

This film was fun and sweet the family are loveable waaa it was nice to just watch a feel good story at 3am. The rock is so annoying all he does is okay himself and just stand there but okayyy. Florence Pugh doe <3

7. Reservoir Dogs

Yoooooo I loved this shit I know Tarantino films get gassed but yea this film deserves it I enjoyed how it’s mainly recorded in one space but there’s a lot to be unravelled heh

8. Midsommar

Had to wait 24hrs to fully conclude whether I liked this film because ngl...at first can be confusing but after you let it sink in you realise it’s good!

9. The Platform

I loved this! It reminded me of cube which is also v good!! Good story, interesting meaning...symbolic ending which can either be good or frustrating idk depends how you read into shit

10. The Great Gatsby

I like the story, the actors and the soundtrack made everything a vibe and maaannn the party scenes made things so fun to watch. Daisy and Gatsby kinda annoying but i know some argue Nick is no saint either

11. She’s Out Of My League

Only watched it because it was trending on Netflix and uh...it sucks the characters are annoying and selfish but if you want to watch a cringey romcom with an airport chase scene and a scrawny white nerd, go for it!

12. Easy A

It was fun! soemtimes ott oversaturated teen movies with a steotypical high school plus a happy ending of the mc getting a boyfriend are what a girl needs to pass time. I actually enjoyed the drama that occurred tho lol

13. Ex Machina

I liked the concept and some scenes I was like oh worm what’s happening..ending was interesting too but I got bored a lot or just couldn’t focus. Dialogue and fighting just got me bare bored sometimes oops

14. Dallas Buyers Club

I liked it ! waaa the development between Ron and Rayon too ;( ngl some scenes I was like ok let’s hurry this up but I liked the story itself maybe I’m just impatient

15. Girl, Interrupted

I actually had a lot to say from this film I had a lot to analyse about Winona’s character- but that’s a conversation for another day, but not a bad film!! But not really a rewatch lol

16. Sixteen Candles

Nah not the way I thought sixteen wishes was a Disney remake of this film....but yeah it was cool I like scenes of chaos lmao like the plot/scenes about the freshman were my fav he the best

17. Snowpiercer

Damn. Bong Joon-Ho so good at stories you haven’t really thought much about and is so good at portraying class differences and power wowwow...once again I’m impatient last 40 mins did have me bored/off track, lol train reference

18. Spirited Away

Waaaa cute cute cute sometimes I be scared for the poor girl tho ... but I :’)

19. Holes

Shiii I thought this thread would be over for now but then I remembered I used someone’s Disney+ just to watch this as well as Doug but yea holes lowkey good tf
