We all recognize that testing data doesn't tell us how prevalent the coronavirus is. If the % of positive test results for a recent day are higher than the cumulative %, it implies testing has been inadequate eg in the UK, Mexico, Panama, the US, Singapore and Sweden
No lockdown may be necessary if daily and cumulative positive tests as % of total tests, can be kept below the 5% peaks Korea saw in Feb/Mar. Better still would be the 1-2% ratio that HK, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Vietnam have now.
These data help justify #Ghana announcing an end to its #lockdown yesterday. It suggests SA, central Europe and Norway, can also ease their #lockdown. Unfortunately we do not have daily testing data for #Egypt which would help us see how prevalent the virus is there
For US states, see this thread. Only about six states have the virus under as much control as Korea managed in Feb/Mar, which would justify the calls to #LiberateAmerica https://twitter.com/RencapMan/status/1252555695553208325?s=20
