I was laid off from my full time journalist role at The Phoenix while self-isolating due to coronavirus symptoms (it turned out I just had a bog-standard pretty awful flu).

They packed up my desk and couriered it over in a taped up cardboard box. They also locked me out of my company email address before I had the opportunity to collect the details for any of my contacts (which would have still been difficult even with access, as I had the flu)
