Terrible example to set by providing temporary accomodation instead of putting them back in to their homes. The government has to be responsible for any evictions happening during the pandemic, a rent moratorium is already too late.

We’re facing a very real danger of the homeless population increasing on the road as economy collapses if the government doesn’t do something about it, yesterday.

Especially considering the fact that now that the government has provided temporary housing once, landlords will feel that the government will do it again and it gives them a free pass to evict whoever they want.

We don’t know when the pandemic is going to be over, the virus makes the timeline, not us. Which means we have no clue or idea as to when all this will stop and the curve will slide down, it’s extremely irresponsible to have even let them be evicted in the first place.
