A lot of women are really unused to kindness and an extension of self from their male partners. I'm not trying to have a "the bar is so low" conversation but when you see the sort of things often praised as "amazing" or "fantastic", it's barely even polite shit.
There are fair things & then there are kind things. We often mistake one for the other because we barely even get "fair", so we elevate "fair" to "kind". All I know is women really deserve better treatment should not switch one for the other because that's all they are getting
Is it really kind for a working man with a working wife to watch the kids while she goes to do her hair? Like is that a kind thing for him to do or is that just fair? Why would we wax poetic about that? Maybe I'm wrong but I've been thinking about it
