#PerpetualiteinThisPandemic, a THREAD
(for academic purposes only)

This thread is about the things I did, my thoughts and insights, and a little bit of a message for those people who had same realizations with me under the period of ECQ.
During this ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine), I came up with lots of understandings and realizations that stirred my overall perception on how this world works which I am about to share some in this thread. These are from observations on news and media.
When filipinos grew scared of the COVID-19, disunion and fear spread among us resulting in false news, panic, and panic buying which also presented several ways and opportunities for bad people to take advantage of the dreadful situation that we are in.

Several people were caught for hoarding essential hygiene equipments (face masks, alcohols, hand sanitizers) needed to help prevent further infections of the pandemic and dramatically increased its prices to their satisfaction.
It's clear that even in times of crisis, people still tend to take advantage of the situation to benefit only themselves. I don't think that this is one of our nature in survival instincts, instead this is a selfish act of greed and gluttony.
It has also come to my realization that instead of helping other people rise and survive this pandemic, it's becoming one of the human nature to pull and bring others down so one can rise up. This is also one of the facts that we, filipinos, can't quit being a third-world-country
In spite of the several negative things and events that I noticed, I figured that there are a lot of stuff and activities that we may do to distract and rest ourselves from the gloomy atmosphere brought by news and social media.
I was suddenly reminded of the list I made that I want to do this year. The next thing I knew I went back to drawing, watching anime, general cleaning, and spending time with family.
The possibility of the ECQ being a blessing in disguise struck me as people had more time to spent with their families and loved ones. News of some places regaining their usual animals back is one of the great news that lifted our spirits amidst of this virus.
I figured after this ECQ, I will still afford to spent time with my family as how we are when we were on lock down. I would like to still advance my learning in the field of drawing and sketching as it is still one of the things I like to do most.
Whether your realizations are positive or negative, I hope and pray that we would still be in touch on what we love to do, with our family, and loved ones.
After this lock down, I pray that we would come up with a resolution to change those negative behaviors and actions of our fellow filipinos by doing and displaying a good and responsible role model.
This is just a glimpse of the hundred things I experienced during ECQ.
