Predators targeting the young
Changes in farming destroying nests
Climate change causing changes in habitat

Rescued eggs were brought back to @WWTSlimbridge for headstarting last year. Some were released into the wild to increase the number of breeding adults - giving the species a chance to recover, we hope.
