Poverty continues to be higher in #London at 28% than the UK average at 21%

📈The cost of living in London is 15-58% higher than the rest of the UK

#Housing is a major driver of poverty in #London & the housing crisis is getting worse

🏘56,000 of London’s households are now living in temporary accommodation

⬆That's an increase of 30% compared to 5 years ago 3/6
In-work poverty in #London is also on the rise

đŸ’ŒNow, 74% of adults in poverty, or 1,050,000 people, are in working families

⬆This is up from 62% a decade ago 4/6
#London also experiences huge inequalities in wealth & shared opps

đŸ‘„Those in the bottom half of London’s wealth distribution hold just 6.8% of the capital’s total wealth, whereas those in the top 10% hold 42.5%
