I want the tyrannical overlords to stuff it as much as the next person, but there are sketchy things about these Operation Gridlock groups that are not sitting well with me.

Please hear me out. I saw this in a random comment elsewhere & double-checked the info.

It's legit.

So those groups popped up overnight and suddenly had a massive amount of backing, right?

Here are two different descriptions for the L.A. group and the T.N. group:

Here's Pensylvanians Against Excessive Quarantine, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota...

They all have the same description.

And at least for MN and PA, they were registered at the same time with the same registrar on the same day...

So it's not a bunch of little grassroots groups, it's some singular entity that's pushing the movement.

On one hand, I am SO ready to start trying to ease back into things. On the other, I don't want someone manipulating people into doing this to further some other agenda.

Maybe it's an attempt to make people look bad? Or to get more restrictions passed? Who knows?

Just be careful. By all means, protest if you want. It's your right, and I'm not saying you shouldn't. But do it on your terms and for your community, and be careful signing up for groups or websites when you don't know who's behind them.
