One of the biggest journalistic surprises in the UK has been morning TV presenter @piersmorgan.

Notorious for sensationalism, he is a former tabloid editor with a dubious record.

However on COVID-19, he has been dogged in demanding accountability, says @karinwahlj.
Two British institutions - the National Health Service and the BBC were under intense funding pressure before COVID-19 struck.

The pandemic has brought a surge of public appreciation - however @profhelenward and @karinwahlj are wary this may not last long after the crisis.
