1. Job 22:28 MSG
You'll decide what u want & it will happen; your life will be bathed in light.

Started with d passage above deliberately. A lot of decisions need to be taken & I pray we all make the right decisions.

The trouble with money is, no one ever really teaches you how to manage it. Sort of like having children.

It just happens, one day you're a grown up and are expected to know how to make good decisions.
3.

Unfortunately, human nature doesn't work out that way, people make decisions based on emotion rather than logic and wind up wondering where all their monies went.

It doesn't have to be that way. Below are ten tips for regular people on how to manage your money.
4.
1 - Use a budget. Yes, it is a drag having to make up and stick to a budget. But, doing so will do two major things for you.
The 1st is, it will show u where all your money goes every month.
The second is it will help u see very clearly if you are spending more than u make.
5.
2. Save some.
Every single person with an income shld have sm form of savings.
Whether it's dropping sm coins in a jar, or a portion of your paycheck into a savings account. If u don't save, u won't ve money 4 when emergencies cm & u won't ve money whn it retirement comes
6.
3. Cut out impulse buying. 1 of d biggest mistake regular pple make c their money is impulse buying.
It sucks up far more of ur money than u are aware of & generally gives u very little returns. d solution. make a firm decision to stop all impulse buying & stick to it.
7.
4a . Stop being lazy. Probably the second biggest mistake regular people make with their money, is being lazy.

They don't shop around for a better price. They don't do their homework when making major purchases.
8.
4b. They don't take the time to learn what things mean and wind up with mortgages they don't understand. So, if you want to manage your money better, take a more active role in how it's being spent...
9.
5. Get a plan. You can't just get up, go to work, come home, eat and go to bed. Life keeps going on whether or not you are paying attention.

Managing your money means managing your life. It means looking forward towards the future and making plans to get there.
10.
6a. Stop reaching. Another thing is buying beyond their means.
It means buying things u can't afford or expecting to b able to live at a certain standard of living simply bc you believe u deserve it, even if u can't afford it.
11.
6b. If you want to manage your money well, accept what you earn and live within your means.

If you can't accept it, then go figure out how to make more, rather than just spending more at the expense of your future.
12.
7. Give some away.
Nothing makes you appreciate your money more than how you feel when you give some of it away. Pick a charity and start giving. When last did you give to d needy around u? It may sound bizarre, but it is rewarding in a million ways
13.
8a. Get off the credit-crutch. There is this thing that happens to people when they start relying on credit cards to get them through whatever crises may be at hand.

They start to feel like they couldn't survive without the safety net.
14.
8b. The thing is, more often than not, it's an illusion. You probably could very easily survive without any credit cards at all. You just don't want to, because what if you want something that you can't afford? Get over it.
15.
9. Invest.
Everyone should invest some of their money. This is in addition to putting some money into savings. Invest in safe things, like gold, or treasury bills. It's just good to diversify. Eg. A friend of mine, a female, buys a cow and sell in parts to homes.
16.
10a. Look for money drains.
Finally, look into how some of your money might be slipping away each month unnoticed. Look at your electricity bill for example.Every month you are likely paying for the luxury of having all your electronics stay warmed up & ready for you to go.
17.
10b. Put them on power strips and turn those power strips off after using your equipment and you'll likely see an immediate, noticeable reduction in your bill. There are other things like this that you might look into as well. Look closer at what you are paying for
