Funny to see how leftists act in games.

In Animal Crossing, there is an item called "turnips" which you can buy from an NPC only available on Sunday mornings. The sale value of turnips at your local shop changes every day until one week later they expire, wasting the investment.
However, not every player& #39;s shop has the same turnip price per day. If you are friends with someone who has a high price you can visit their town and sell there. That& #39;s the intended mechanic. Except, now people are using the internet to find complete strangers with high prices.
This makes it so that you can reliably quadruple your investment, every single week. Yet the intended mechanic was for there to be an element of risk to this. In short, it breaks the game, taking all fun out of it. Twitter searches reveal who participates most in this behavior...
So, there are actually dedicated websites where players with high turnip prices can post an ad of sort for their town so players can join and sell their stuff. Normally, people would do this for free, just to have a few visitors to hang out with. Not so on these sites.
Instead, players with high prices are demanding EXORBITANT "tips" roughly 1/5 the amount needed to "beat" the game just to enter the town at all. Visitors are forced to follow strict rules and not allowed to go anywhere except to bee line straight to the shop and leave.
Extreme leftists when given the slightest opportunity, have become brutal hyper efficient capitalists who care about nothing more than money. Interestingly, right wingers typically frown upon this sort of thing and view it as over the top and ruining the point of the game.
In fact, these turnip sellers are sometimes referred to as "turnip trannies" because the vast majority of them have the typical bizarre pronouns blazoned on their profiles. And there are of course raids carried out by those who are annoyed, to crash the whole enterprise.
That& #39;s just the tip of the iceberg really. Video games, while games, act as a potential useful tool for examining human behavior. In this case it shows what we basically all knew anyway. Leftists are bitterly jealous. They just want to be the rich guy. Obvious stuff, but amusing.
