a psa for questioning trans folks out there: transitioning can refer to things like adopting a label, trying a new name or pronouns, dressing in a way that makes you happier, a haircut, coming out to someone you trust etc. it doesn't only refer to medical processes like hrt.

even if all you do is come out to yourself and then you don't feel the need to do anything else: CONGRATS. YOU TRANSITIONED. transition isn't linear, it doesn't have certain requirements everyone must meet, regardless of what medical gatekeepers will tell you. it's YOUR journey.
