not sure if na-kwento ko na here before pero one time during my shift, i had this customer who ordered a drink tapos he kept looking at this couple who was seated in the corner of the store.

and as a virgo, im very observant and i take note of small details when interacting with customers. so i noticed na parang na-distract siya agad when he saw that couple sa corner tapos he even pulled out his phone to take a pic.

so i was like “ah baka friends niya ganun”

so i handed him his drink and proceeded with the next customer in line. tapos the guy left the store na.

minutes later the guy comes back and syempre kinabahan ako kasi baka he’s gonna complain about his drink or what

so he went up to the counter and asked us if the couple seated dun sa corner were regular customers. we were like “oh no, hindi naman ata”

then the guy says, “ah ganun ba. girlfriend ko kasi yun eh.”

EDI SIYEMPRE GULAT AKO pero syempre dapat kalmado lang. We honestly were all just ???

so the guy proceeds to buy a slice of cake then he asks one of us to bring the slice of cake to the couple tapos sabihin daw na “galing ‘to kay ****”

so ayun na nga dinala na nga yung cake sa couple tas syempre napatingin si girl dun sa counter. tas si guy nag walk out tas si girl iyak na lang.

so like for a good hour or so, the girl was just crying and the kabit was just comforting her (siguro sobrang napa-wtf din siya sa nangyari)

so kami namang mga barista medyo naka-abang na kami if ever na magkaroon ng gulo kasi syempre ayaw namin ma-ruin yung coffee house experience ng ibang customers.

ending nung story nagkausap si girl at guy sa labas ng store. wala namang sapakan or gulo na nangyari pero nasayang yung slice of cake kasi di naman kinain.
