Matthew 5: 44

Your enemies: who they are, how to Love them and why you should.

A thread.
1. Those who curse you -bless them.
These are those who speak ill of you to your face or behind you.

Not only should you not speak ill back to them in their face or behind them, but also respond graciously to them while ignoring their caustic remarks. - That's a way to bless!
2. Those who hate you - do good to them.

These are the one who can't find any good about you and can't stand you, regardless of whether you do good or bad.

Not only should you not hate them back in your heart, but also go and extra mile of doing a good act to them. Show it!
3. Those who despitefully use you and persecuted you - pray for them.

Dont retaliate. The things they do to you that you don't like, pray to your heavenly Father concerning them, and ask him to change them, make them stop, and turn to him.

In that way you have one less enemy.
Bless. Do good. Pray.

Doing these simple things demystifies perfection, because it makes you just like your Father who is a perfect God.
He is a constant God who doesn't break his commitment and Covenant of sun and rain, just because people behave badly or hate him.

It is such consistence in our good actions that Jesus emphasizes on, so that by being constant, we become perfect just like the Father.

Peace!
