Schools could reopen to children and staff who have had the virus. To do that though we will need to test whole communities. This means we need to have mass testing ready

Vaccination is the best long term solution to virus control (I’m no public health expert but look at the history of disease control)

Scientists are working on a vaccine as hard as they can.

Schools may be able to use public health measures to control the spread of the virus such as distancing and the use of PPE.

To do this entire school communities will need access to sufficient quantities of PPE

There is a lot of talk about weighing up the risk of opening schools fully against economic impact of keeping them closed, which might prevent some people from working.

I DO KNOW the number of lives we should put at risk for this reason.
