understanding astrology: a thread ✨
before i start, you can find your full birth chart here: https://astro.cafeastrology.com/natal.php
so first you have your core sign aka your Sun. this is the sign that is most commonly referred to when discussing astrology. it determines your ego, identity & main personality traits & will be in one of the 12 zodiac signs.
next you have your moon. the moon rules your emotions, moods & feelings. this sign will mostly be represented when you're alone or feel deeply comfortable in a situation. this is determined by the date, time & place you were born.
then you have your rising/ascendant. this is how you come across to others. it is sort of like a mask that you present to other people that becomes less relevant the more comfortable you become with your true self. 🧡
next you have Mercury. this determines how you communicate, learn and think. <3
next is Venus. this determines how and what you love, how you express affection and the qualities you are attracted to. đź’–
then you've got Mars, the planet of aggression. this determines how you act when you're angry, how you take action, your ambitions & the energy that surrounds you. <3
next is Jupiter which is one of the two social planets. this rules idealism, optimism & expansion. it also judges our levels of tolerance & generosity and how we express these đź’—
finally there is the second social planet, Saturn. this rules responsibility, restrictions, limits, boundaries, fears & self-discipline đź’ž
i hope this thread was helpful for people wanting to learn more about astrology. remember that everyone has different beliefs and whether you think this is accurate or not is up to you and you shouldn't let anyone judge you for it. spread love not hate đź’™
