In my own opinion the Barret actually casted them. The barret is the most sacred property in any uniform organization, especially when it's crested.
- You cannot salute without it.
- You don't wear it anyhow.
- You don't eat, drink or misbehave with the barret on your Head. https://twitter.com/AyodejiOsowobi/status/1252208071289511936

Every uniform organization have their symbols and logos that represent what they stand for. In fact i know of officers who were dismissed from service on the day of their commissioning as officers, why?
Their barret fell off from their head.

In conclusion, don't be quick to judge the commission because there are rules and regulations guiding these uniforms as well as the public service rules too. They are clearly stated in the book, except they didn't read them while accepting the appointment letter. Thank you.
