i think my fatal flaw as a danganronpa fan is enjoying rantarou/tsumugi but only in very specific scenarios

and in ALL these scenarios rantarou is a lesbian. he's a dyke and so is tsumugi

scenario 1: pre-v2 where they're both shitty teens and kinda bad influences on each other but they're all the other really has in this horrible world so they latch on despite the terrible decisions both of them make

scenario 2: season 52. rantarou protag tsumugi support. a dynamic duo, honestly. tsumugi doesn't open up to him right away, but when she does it's like they fit perfectly together. almost like they were made to work so well together

rantarou ends up sacrificing himself not only for the rest of their classmates that had died in their gane, but for tsumugi, too. tsumugi cries and is angry with the world for doing this to him. rantarou wakes up in a hospital bed, alive.

scenario 3: hope's peak au where they were middle school friends and they're realizing they really love each other and want to be there for each other always.

scenario 4: non-despair au's, probably either post hope's peak or in a world where hpa doesn't exist. they're bitter and awkward exes and they meet up at a bar one night by pure coincidence and they have an awkward talk while they're both really drunk and-

they say a lot of stupid things and admit to each other that things weren't the best for either of them when they first got together but they aren't sure if they wanna let each other go completely. one of them takes the other home and gets them to bed and things are... peaceful

the next morning either rantarou or tsumugi's scribbled their phone number on a napkin and put it on the other's nightstand. you know, just in case they'd gotten rid of the other's number. neither of them got rid of their numbers.

they become friends again. and really, it's just like how they were in middle school and hope's peak/high school. they're like each other's missing link. they love each other.

scenario 5 is my tma/dr au but it's complicated to explain honestly. i don't have the energy to explain or organize it
