I think what is starting to really irk me is how nonchalant people are about exposing that they are not adhering to the rules of lockdown. They are posting their gatherings online etc.
It’s just so selfish.
And it’s ignorant to believe that just because it’s your friend they are immune to the virus, you don’t know where that friend of yours goes, I mean if they are comfortable to visit you, do you think they haven’t tried it with other people?
We are all just trying to get through this. We all want normalcy to resume. This situation has affected us all. I would love to see my mom, or at least my dad even if it’s for 10 minutes. I would love to celebrate my nieces birthday this coming weekend
And I somewhat have the means to cheat the system and to evade the rules. But it’s wrong and it’s unfair for everyone who is sitting their butts at home, losing their minds, trying to just do what’s right for the greater good
So every time you consider bending the rule a little bit Try to Consider others that would also love to see their loved ones too, those who have to work under strange& dangerous conditions during this time, those who cannot even work and earn, those stuck with their abusers......
Your selfishness doesn’t just start and end with you. It affects everyone.
