Unless you want to potentially pay thousands for post exposure rabies treatment DO NOT TOUCH BATS

Not even with gloves just DO NOT TOUCH UNLESS YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL

You can call animal control to dispose/test bats. If your pets have been exposed you need to inform animal control and get the bat tested and get your pet a rabies booster ASAP.

This is mostly for US people but bats in general are notorious zoonotic disease carries, just don’t touch them!!!!
