If the victim is Hindu, especially in saffron robes, his death (even if it has a communal angle) is played down by the Immoral Leftists but if the victim is from the minority community, especially in religious attire, his death is played up (even if it has a secular angle).

Look at Palghar case. First they tried to ignore it and bury the news. When Social Media folks posted 3 lakh+ tweets, they are forced to take notice. But even then, they can’t issue a simple condemnation. Their main concern is not lynching but that it shouldn’t be communalised.

It shows us that the leftists are not just hypocritical but lacks basic human decency to condemn violent incidents unless the victims belong to a certain religious denomination.

The Left’s only concern in Palghar case is to highlight there is no communal angle. But when the victim is a Muslim, they don’t wait for facts to emerge. They shout minority persecution/Hindu fascism from get-go. Even when it’s proven there is no communal angle, they don’t relent

Exhibit Tabrez. Was caught red handed and lynched for attempted robbery not because he was a Muslim.

Exhibit Rakbar. He had an FIR for cow theft earlier. Was lynched for trying to steal cows again in night, not because he was a Muslim.

But Leftists communalised these to hilt.

Why do they do this?

Because in their worldview, every group has victimhood points they can claim based on numbers, perceived atrocities, separatist tendencies from Hindu/Indian mainstream, etc. Rankings of the groups in the victimhood pyramid vary based on the above factors.

So, Dalits have a bigger claim on victimhood compared to the upper caste Hindus but Muslims are on a higher pedestal than Dalits because their number is small and they are a bulwark against Hinduism, the majority religion.

That’s why Muslim-on-Dalit atrocities are swept under the carpet. Dalits are Dalits and victims only if they are in clash with their upper caste H brethren. If they are clashing with Muslims, their victimhood card is taken away and they are as Hindu as the next Brahmin or Baniya.

You can claim your victimhood points as long as you are a separatist

If you are a Muslim and try to put your country before religion, your group victimhood card is snatched

Ditto for Dalits. If they try to be too Hindu or (gods forbid) Hindutvawadis, they are treated with scorn

Nonetheless, we should outrage not at unworthy leftists but the cop representing the State who brushed off the hand that was seeking protection from him
