When will we stop bickering, when will we stop picking on each other, finding each other's faults, calling each other names, judging each other' practice. Only when we stop, and be forgiving, will we be able to take a step closer to our Imam.
May Allah forgive us all.
May Allah forgive us all.
If only we would put Allah, before our self, we will see the doors of opportunity, mercy, and sustenance open for us.
What baffles me is that we as humans don't forgive, but Allah forgives, the gravest and grandest of sin, as long as we turn with sincere hearts.
What baffles me is that we as humans don't forgive, but Allah forgives, the gravest and grandest of sin, as long as we turn with sincere hearts.
Many a times, brothers of mine have told me that they sought forgiveness for some brothers, that they may have harmed in the past, and it eats them up because said brother won't accept his apology. And this person has repented from his past, and changed completely.
He is a person I have known for eight years, he's went through everything, lowest of the low, he has sinned, but the he realizes his sin, which is the first step of istighfar (seeking atonement).
And he knows Allah has forgiven him, but the mind eats you alive.
And he knows Allah has forgiven him, but the mind eats you alive.
For some of us, we can't stop thinking about our past, it is what shapes us, for this brother, his past is part of his life everyday, he lives it in anxiety and fear, even worried about how his outer circle may look at him, always.
Please be forgiving, don't carry hatred.
Please be forgiving, don't carry hatred.
If someone has wronged you, if they have a past, if they are trying to change and become religious, yet you keep putting them down and biting there flesh. You have a hand in this sin, and you are worse than the sin that was committed.
Be human, be merciful, be good, and be forgiving. This world is to short for us to carry hatred towards our fellow brethren.
May this month of Ramadan be a cleanse for our very spirit.
May this month of Ramadan be a cleanse for our very spirit.
On that note, and since we are days away from Ramadan, I sincerely ask for; forgiveness, if I have hurt you or wronged you - in any way - in the past or present forgive me, and pray that my end is blissful, no one wants to leave this world with weight on the shoulder.
Amen.
Amen.
