Apathetic activists are thirsty to "cancel" Adam Driver but most have been strangely silent about Iraq/Afghanistan for years. It's weird they care more about an actor's standing on the internet than their own country's foreign policy.
Adam Driver is talking about how he felt twenty years ago on 9-11 which was extremely average. You can't judge people twenty years ago by the standards of today. Historical context matters.
Hero worship is stupid. People are awful and people are good. There's no artist that's been a well well-balanced person from the start. It's a journey otherwise they'd have nothing to say or do. What matters is where they are today.
