It's a bit reductive, but, well, Trump's ads are made specifically for morons, and if you find them engaging you're a moron. It's not a lot more complicated than that.

One of the two ads today was against a woman he's not running against and was mostly about the failures of his presidency. He and his team are braindead and their only messages resonate with people like them on either side of the aisle.
