I went with the first and most prominent car in Dazed and Confused but there are so many worth sharing that I’ll make this a thread starting with my favorite from the movie, Parker Posey’s ‘55 Chevy pickup.

Pickups are dominant in the 76 Texas high school scene, actually.

Then, of course, the muscle. In the movie, set in an era of severely castrated cars due to the oil crisis of the 1970s, kids clearly hung on to the last holdouts of muscle cars from just a few years before with big engines and even bigger grilles, fenders, and spoilers.

The Moon Tower scene has a few boy seen in earlier parts of the movie like this 69 Mustang. Does anyone else cringe when you see people sitting on the hood of a car? Even though old American iron could take it, it still drives me crazy. #PartyAtTheMoonTower

Yet another gem of a pickup.
