Kim Jong Un may very well be in critical condition or even dead. As a brutal dictator who has murdered many of his own people, he quite frankly deserves whatever fate awaits him. But if the only source of information comes from CNN, I’m going to wait for more credible evidence.

Using unnamed sources to break a major story like this is basically gambling. If CNN is right, then great, they have an amazing scoop. But if they are wrong and yanked everyone’s chain, they must pay deeply for their lapse in journalistic integrity and sensationalism. Sick of it.

As Americans, we must demand more from the media. We aren’t sheep who just consume the 24 hour cable news cycle without any critical thinking or analysis. We deserve more than corporate media gambling with their scoops and just moving on when they’re wrong as if nothing happened.
