not that I totally get this sentiment and as a white passing half asian I definitely am aware of this but also. mixed people (in general) are like, only conditionally white. Remember Plessy v. Ferguson?? https://twitter.com/jessi_ex/status/1252054660879392768
looking white or even just being lightskinned is not without its privileges, but its also not the same as being white.
you have to remember that yeah being white is a made up thing but people have also been obsessed with being pure white and if you aren't, then you're a lower than them. we live in a world where there's still people who think that -- and where even antiquated ideas still have
lasting effects on modern society
I know I still count as white, and in normal daily life my privileges from my whiteness are the same as a regular white person's. but also, every mixed person is different and has a different experience, and our non whiteness will often affect us in some way or another.
UHHHH I feel kinda bad for rambling on in this thread I'm sorry op I know your point is just "if you're white passing use you're privilege for good" and you are right about that so
