Time for the Reylo Dragon Age AU no one asked for but I am going to deliver anyway
On his tenth birthday, Prince Ben Solo of Ferelden finds out he’s a mage. He attempts to keep this from his parents (Mages aren’t allowed in the royal family after all) but a maid catches him practicing his magic one day and she calls for the Templars.
Once ripped away from his family, he is taken to the Circle in Kirkwall and Knight Commander Snoke renames Ben, Kylo Ren. The people of Ferelden must not know that he is connected to the throne after all. Ben does not have an easy life in Kirkwall, and the minute he gets there
He begins planning his escape. Unfortunately, Snoke runs an extremely tight operation. His Templars are ruthless, and the mages are treated horribly. To make matters worse, his parents never found out what Circle he was sent to, so he never got letters from them.
Ben is roughly 25 when a younger mage notices him performing blood magic. He manages to escape before the Templars can arrest him. As he’s fleeing the Templars, he runs into a city elf that was carrying her laundry. He’s about to apologize, but then he hears the clack of armor.
Before the elf girl can curse at him for ruining her freshly cleaned laundry, Ben pulls her into an alley and they hide behind some crates. They stay there like this until Ben is certain that the Templars are gone. The elf puts two and two together and realizes that this
Mysterious man is an apostate. Ben is ready with excuses, but he doesn’t expect her to drag him by the hand back to the area of the elven alienage that she calls home. She reveals to him that she has a little bit of magic and that she needs a teacher.
Ben refuses at first, but she mentions she only needs to learn enough so she can control it. He begrudgingly agrees, but only because she threatened to call the Templars. He decides that this elf, Rey, may be more trouble than she’s worth.
Rey has lived in the alienage her whole life. She has had countless opportunities to leave, but she is confident that her missing parents will show up again one day. When Rey is 19, she discovers that she has just a tiny bit of magic in her, but it’s growing everyday.
When Kylo comes into her life (She doesn’t believe him when he says that’s his name), she couldn’t be more thrilled. She thanks the Maker, the elven gods, anyone who might be listening. It was getting harder and harder to hide from the Templars.
When Kylo tells Rey that they have to leave Kirkwall in order to practice their magic safely, Rey is torn. What if her parents come back? Would they know where to find her? Before Rey can make a decision, Kirkwall’s Knight Commander Snoke finds them.
He threatens to publicly execute them both, until a friendly old man wearing Grey Warden armor interferes. To Rey’s surprise, the Warden exclaims that he wants to recruit both of them. Snoke argues with him, until the older man evokes the right of conscription.
Once released, Snoke demands they leave Kirkwall immediately. Rey is devastated that she will be leaving the alienage behind, but she is grateful that the warden saved their lives. Kylo however, doesn’t seems to be relieved. As soon as they are outside of Kirkwall
Kylo begins yelling and cursing at the warden. Rey steps in and snaps at Kylo’s outburst until the warden says “Excuse my nephew, he’s got bad manners.” She stands there in shock as Kylo’s whole face becomes red. The warden introduces himself as Warden Commander Luke Skywalker.
