I've already witnessed this narrative infiltrating my vulnerable family - causing discord and drama in the midst of a global crisis and pandemic.

We're already immensely stressed out: screw all this talk of opening up way too early and exposing us to unnecessary risk. And very possibly illness or even death.

These narratives - these false stories being told and perpetuated by right-wing funders and the "President" and Fox News - confuse and endanger real people. Including my family.

If my grandfather gets this thing - as a disabled person at 98 - he will not survive. And if he dies from this - alone - our family will never forgive itself.

My aunt pushing all this nonsense on us is herself a vulnerable person in her 60's - with heart problems. Incredibly at risk. If she chooses to keep believing all this "open up bullshit" and put herself at risk she's putting herself in the bullseye - and endangering her whole fam

And the community and healthcare workers she interacts with her tiny town in Alabama with very limited healthcare resources.

So all this insane talk - all these "protests" and stories - do very real damage - they endanger real humans. Including my family. Including me.
