See, 20 minutes ago, I was pretty sure I saw the long slime trail that signals she is starting to remove those babies from their warm confines.

Yes, I am pretty sure she has more than one, but, I didn't ultrasound, so who knows. I'm betting 3. Got a guess?

Goats typically have twins.

My Nubians (yup, the long eared, big nosed ones) tend toward twins and triplets.

I did have one single from another first time mom this year, but first timers are like that. They don't read the textbooks and don't listen to gossip.

Since I think she might be sounding a false alarm, I poured myself a Kahlua over ice, because the second I am not ready for it, she will scream.

And yes, this is one of my screamers.

I bragged last year that my goats were quiet (for Nubians).

Two of last year's kids have decided that they want to prove me wrong. So they scream when they get hormonal.

I'd blame the names on the kids, except I did it.

I used all the best names the year before.

"Hey Soul Sister" is still one of my favorites. That year was also "Hey Jude", "Hey Good Lookin", "Hey Ho, Let's Go"... and 5 more.

Dingle Dongle, Switch Off, Toggle On, Twist Tie, and ...um... around 3 more, were all named after fasteners because our world had just become unmoored the year before and I was looking for some bindings.

This year, we are thinking Minecraft mobs.

I think I just want to call "Creeper" to the milk stand. I will make a lot of jokes about her preparing to blow when she is getting ready to kid out.
