Unthawed this chicken to room temp. Then Soaked this in white vinegar and scraped all the weird chicken film stuff off the surface. (important step in making sure any chicken you cook doesn’t taste game-y and is salmonella free!)
You know I don’t measure anything 😅 but I do always put the pink/sea salt in the inside of the bird so the sodium emanates. The canola oil can run in the bottom of the bag with the bitter orange to make a base for the fats and salts to mingle with and make a jus
Duh.
This is granulated onion powder
A big Dash of oregano and a generous pinch of black pepper
Fresh cilantro herb
Minced garlic to taste . I used 1 & 1/2 large serving spoonfuls of this
Chop an onion and shove it up the booty where the salt is
Shave five carrots and shove them up the chickens ass as well. Do a last minute drop of soy sauce on top the bird to *mildly* flavor the skin and combat the sweetness of the carrots. Massage the chicken inside the bag then Tie the oven bag up and place in oven at 425 for an hour.
