[BEWARE] [a thread]
i figure since stuff is blowing up about @/zaturnhusky i should probably talk abt my experiences too, including theft, tracing, and bad manners/behavior. ive been quiet abt it because i didnt know how to say it, or if i should say it at all. ->

ill start off with @/cactimutt 's post abt theft. alongside their stickers, there are ones i had created via private commission for telegram stickers. all comms of mine are for personal use only unless they pay for art rights. theyve been selling my art for merch, no discussion.

speaking of rights, they had wanted a logo from me at one point. while the deal did not end up going through, and i felt like i really had to lowball my services, i was met with some rude behavior towards my prices and rights to the art.

i was hit with tracing too. they only used it personally as far as im aware, and idc if people trace my stuff to gain knowledge, but since they were already selling my stuff w/o permission and trace other's stuff for sales, ill bring up the 3 traces i know about of my artwork. ->

for starters, they follow my WIP art channel ( https://t.me/victorcabellaartprogress ) and i post sketches. two tracings were sourced from my sketches i only post there, discord, and trello.

another trace, mirrored my original. these obviously arent 100% line-by-line traced because they had to edit to fit their characters, but the effort (or lack thereof) is still there.

this is the last traced thing *that i know of*, there could definitely be more and i feel like there are more situations between us that i have forgotten since its been a long time - but yeah, this is out now and i feel a lot better abt it.

jokes aside, ty all for giving me an opportunity to open up and not keep this hidden anymore. i was extremely anxious and didnt know what to do until the original threads started happening. i am extremely thankful.
