Directing students to go to school 1 day a week is politically motivated BS pushed on Gladys by @CoronaMo

It cannot be anything else since:

- it can only encourage spreading of #COVID19au

- it will do little to help kids education

- it will do little for the economy
This policy of ..

It is best to isolate for 4 days, but if you don’t come for 1 day it will be marked “unapproved leave” ..

.. is farcical
How will it enhance kids education?

Answer: It won’t

Each school will do it differently, but it will be a shambles ..

.. casuals supervising, not enough tech, to do the work they are set to do at home anyway

[Seeing Y12 will help, but will we?]
How does it help the economy?

By allowing parents to get back to work?

Answer: it doesn’t - NSW schools have always been open for kids whose parents have no other option - so they could still work
When the rest of society is still under orders to isolate, this makes zero sense

Either it is safe to open society up, or it is not yet

Schools should follow the same guidelines as every other aspect of society. To do otherwise makes clear that there are other motives
How will it affect the pandemic response?

Apart from obvious, it will ..

.. serve to undermine the restrictions on the rest of society, leading to more calls for their reduction and/or removal ..

.. and there you have it - the only plausible motive
