@GovMikeDeWine own words “assume everyone has the virus”.... 4 part thread.
Assume everyone had it the day we shut down Ohio.... that was 30+ days ago, which means we’ve weathered the worst and it’s time to open back up the economy
Assume everyone has it as of today, that means we’ve social distanced and shut the economy down only have 8,000,000 still get the virus, but yet hospitals were not over run and the mortality rate was less than 1%
Assume everyone GETS it as of tomorrow. Then we have a 10-14 day window of shut down left, but hospitals are prepared and ready to take the sickest of the sick.
In all of these scenarios, the math doesn’t lie.....less than 0.001% of Ohioans will have symptoms causing
A hospital stay, and only 30% of that number will need the ICU, and 97-98% of that will survive.
