I’m curious about how many older Millennials and Gen Xers have uneasy feelings about cooking mostly passed on from Boomer moms who grew up being forced to learn to cook and hated it

I think this is a *fascinating* list of responses, and one thing I should point out is that my experience is very “traditional nuclear midwestern white family” and I think kitchen culture works really differently for different kinds of families and different cultures.

(And by traditional I mean, dad worked, mom was a stay at home - until we were older.)
