"Livetweeting" House of Leaves was a fun excercise so I'm going doing it again, but this time its going to be a little different.

I am going to attempt to create a "cliffnotes" version of the 98 short stories contained in "The Complete Stories Of JG Ballard". https://twitter.com/Moonsoother/status/1249175069257084931
Why? Ballard is famous but few, generally, read short stories. I want to try to provide you access to the metaphors contained within these stories while saving you the trouble of reading them yourself. Just another free service I offer. https://www.newstatesman.com/2020/04/why-we-are-living-jg-ballard-s-world
I will be much less autobiographical and parenthetical/digressive than with House of Leaves. That approach was more meta-appropriate for that book. My approach here will also likely be influenced by the content informing it but as I have not read this before I cant predict how.
My only previous experience with Ballard is "The Drowned World" so much of what I know of him is based purely on his reputation. https://twitter.com/Moonsoother/status/1245713688775942145?s=20
See also: this previous thread where I tried to recount the short stories from fredric pohl's "Pohlstars" from memory. https://twitter.com/Moonsoother/status/1227844332129882112?s=20
Another way this will be different from House of Leaves is that unlike with that book I'm nearly 100% certain anyone who finds this thread will not have read any of these stories before, which nessacitates a differnt considerations in my approach. Cant assume you have context.
