Where to start lol. Deadbeat was intense from start to finish. I haven’t seen Dresden this beaten up since Fool’s Moon. Harry has been given a task he couldn’t refuse and I hope his decision don’t comeback to bite him. I really enjoyed this book mainly because of Dresden’s.......

Inner conflict. He was up against powerful foes he knew he couldn’t beat and had the temptation of power calling to him. I love that Harry stand his ground about his belief and that is something I admire about him. Wish Thomas was in the story more but I enjoyed his scenes.

Butters was great and loved that he toughen up in the end and help Dresden with the aid of mouse. The war has became gruesome and the wizard council is at there weakest. I hope Dresden’s new position will be a great asset to the cause.This book has taken the story in a new.......

The Dresden and Murphy talk was something. I’m not sure if I wanted them together or not. I like their friendship and i can see the chemistry. But I do agree that their live are too different, don’t want another Susan situation. Hope harry find someone one day #dresdenfiles

Proven guilty was a nice edition to the series. Not as intense as deadbeat but the story was still entertaining. The theme of this book as was a lot of redemption and reconciliation. Glad Dresden and Michael finally talked about the big elephant in the room....

Also, glad he settled his differences with Ebenezer. I feel as though Dresden can move forward with a clean slate with his friends. Thank God he nip the feelings of Molly in the bud before that got out of hand. That was a little uncomfortable since we seen her as a kid... #book8

I see Charity in a different light now and I’m glad she apologized to Harry for her unfair treatment. Another thing to add is I wonder what going on with Thomas? He obviously going through something and need to spill it to Dresden. #book8 #provenguilty

Lastly, we get insight on whats going on in the overarching plot. It was getting obvious that forces been planning this thing since book 1 and its now all becoming clear to Harry. We have a Judas among the council and we can only wait to see.

Just finished White Knight and it was a good book! It gave me blood rites vibes but I think it’s because we are back dealing with the white court vampires again. I’m not a fan of the vamps in the series because I find them annoying #dresdenfiles #whiteknight #book9

Harry was in his best form in this book. You can see how much he grown between the first book until now. He is much wiser and stronger and you can tell through how he carries himself in the book. He has matured and became tougher but still compassionate. #dresdenfiles #book9

A lot of his friends comment on his recent change of behavior. We can say it has something to do with Lash but honestly, I would be shocked if he didn’t change at all with everything that going on around him. I think he changed for the better. #dresdenfiles #whiteknight

It was interesting to have a throwback character from book1 make a reappearance. Wonder how that will pan out. As for the rest of the characters, everyone was great and I like molly in this book. She only wants to help but I’m glad she understands the dangers now. #dresdenfiles

I didn’t really talk about Elaine much in the last book she appeared because reasons lol but now I can. I don’t care much for her character tbh. She’s not bad but I don’t think she always have Harry’s best interest imo. In summer knight she came off self serving and manipulative.

I think she takes advantage of Harry’s kindness. The last time he seen her is when she tried to kill him but then show up on his door step years later asking for help? See nah..... lol. She was better in this book imo but I won’t miss her. #dresdenfiles #whiteknight

A last point to add is that the ending with Lash was emotional . He really gotten through to her in the end even though she is only the ghost of the real one. I like that the author shows Harry’s emotional side because it’s way more relatable. #dresdenfiles

I’ll admit i didn’t care for Morgan but I balled my eyes out for him because he didn’t deserve that. I was shocked that I cried for him after everything he put Harry through. I feel like Morgan had more to offer in the story and wish it didn’t end this way. #dresdenfiles

As for Molly, I like her and I see where she is coming from. She really messed up in this book and embarrassed Dresden in the process. I agree with Morgan that Harry needs to be harder on her because tears and apologies isn’t going to fix anything. #dresdenfiles

The relationship between captain and Harry was short lived. It was cruel what happened. Jim and I going have to chit chat because he done my Harry wrong. I can understand why captain ended it since it wasn’t her own emotions but it was sad. #dresdenfiles

Dresden made a lot of drastic decisions in this book. Can he come back from them? Only time will tell. As for Susan character as a whole, I didn’t hate her even though she pissed me off a lot in the series. But she didn’t deserve that type of ending. #dresdenfiles

Overall, Changes lived up to it name as for the craziness that transpire in this book. The last few chapters was so intense that I was so nervous. Changes isn’t my favorite book in the series but it was better than turncoat. Excited for the next book #dresdenfiles #changes

Now that I finished the first twelve books in the Dresden files, I feel as though I should give my thoughts to the story so far. I want to do this before ghost story since there will be an obvious change in the series and won’t be the usual Dresden book. #dresdenfiles

As for the character Harry, he is an amazing protagonist to follow and I love him as a character. I normally read female protagonists orient books so technically, Harry is the first guy character I dedicated reading a whole series about. #dresdenfiles

Harry has grown so much as a person and a wizard throughout the books. You wouldn’t notice the change until later in the series when his thought and actions starts making you question will he recover from this. #dresdenfiles

He goes through so much as a person that wants to do the right thing. Honestly, I would make some of the decisions that he made in the series. He is so brave, funny, stupid , caring, emotional when it’s a need for it, and someone I would personally have at my back. #dresdenfiles

I love how he is firm in his beliefs and won’t let anyone make him do anything that he knows will harm innocents. Harry Dresden is a good character in my book. #dresdenfiles

As for other characters, Murphy is an amazing female character. I skeptical going in because I didn’t think a male writer would do a good job handling female characters but Jim did alright in my book. Murphy had a rocky start in the beginning of the series. #dresdenfiles

I didn’t like her much and didn’t care for her attitude. She became way better in the book Summer Knight, and only gotten better. She became a true friend to Dresden and I love how much they trust each other wholeheartedly. #dresdenfiles

Do I ship them together? Hmm.. I think they make a nice couple, but I don’t want their character dynamic to get ruined. My heart was beating so fast at the end of Changes because of what they were about to do . So obvious that they like each other but priorities. #dresdenfiles

As for Thomas, I hope they do something about him and Dresden relationship. It hasn’t really went anywhere imo. Too much is left unsaid between the two and I hope they can overcome this hump in their relationship. They care about each other, so I’m glad for that. #dresdenfiles

As for the war with the red court. I’m glad the author but an end to the story arc. We been fighting them since book 3 and now they are finally defeated. Anyone that seen my tweets know I hate them . They were so annoying. #dresdenfiles

As for the fae courts, I like them. I normally don’t like fae theme stories or characters but the author does a good job handling them. Do I want Dresden to be the white knight? Not really, since I prefer him as a neutral party. #dresdenfiles

And plus Mab would do anything in her power to turn Harry into a monster, so nah . #dresdenfiles

Now for the white court. They are ok, and I want to like Lara because she would make a nice ally. But I don’t trust her and she is too shady. I think she cares about Thomas but she wouldn’t risk her power in the white court for him. #dresdenfiles

The nickel heads we’re an interesting group. I like the conflict between Nicodemus and Harry. It was more mentally since it involved morales. Some of Harry best inner conflict and character development comes from the books when they are in town. #dresdenfiles

I love Michael and Sonya. They are fun characters and I like how their views on life and religion clashes with Harry’s. It’s make you think and I think that’s what the author wanted. #dresdenfiles

As for Maggie. I would like to see Dresden juggle fatherhood and fighting bad guys. It was hard to care about her since we didn’t know much about her (thanks Susan). I hope she won’t be gone long. I normally don’t like stories that throws in kids for drama. #dresdenfiles

Can we talk about why the white council is so useless? They haven’t done a damn thing in the series. Why are they here? I know, to make Dresden life harder . They’re worse than the bad guys sometimes. I want to see more from them but they get on my nerves . #dresdenfiles

I can understand why Dresden blames himself for what happened but I still don’t think everything is his fault. The characters in the series made their own choices including the villains. Harry didn’t force anyone and for him to blame himself is a little harsh. #dresdenfiles

Ghost Story really highlight the out of character decisions Harry made in Changes. #dresdenfiles

Ghost Story is really revealing a lot about what’s been going on. I love that we got to go through Harry’s earliest memories. It’s becoming obvious that Harry’s life is being pushed to something bigger by entities we haven’t seen. #dresdenfiles

These beings is trying to mold Harry into something they want, but as we seen before, Harry won’t play his role as he should. He won’t let these beings control his life and I’m glad for that. #dresdenfiles

Ghost Story was good. The beginning half had me skeptical but the second half picked up and was intense. This was a very emotional book since we reflected on what happened through out the series, especially Changes. #dresdenfiles

The book explains the certain choice that was made in Changes and what pushed Harry to make an out of character decision. Free Will was a central theme in this story and I liked it. I can’t wait to see what happens next for all the characters. #dresdenfiles

I loved the ending of Harry telling Mab off. I think the point of the journey that the Angel wanted to drive home to Harry was no matter what happens, these beings can’t own your soul. He wanted Harry to learn this lesson because he knew what Harry would faced. #dresdenfiles

Molly went through a lot in this book and I felt sorry for her. Harry had great influence over her but she made choices to that she have to live with. I’m sure she will be ok with time. #dresdenfiles

Cold Days was such an amazing book . So much happened in this installment and that ending....whew that was crazy. So many questions were answered, our hero’s lives are changed. Will Harry be able to forge a new life for himself? I look forward to skin games. #dresdenfiles

Our hero Harry is back with a new job lol. The winter knight thing is interesting but all that Fae drama was too much . I was over it as much as Dresden was. But it was still fun to read although it got annoying at times. #dresdenfiles

I’m not sure how I feel about Molly new job. It was kinda wack that she was low key tricked into the gig. Molly changed and I was looking forward to her as an independent wizard instead of the responsibility of winter lady. I’ll reserve judgement on that development #dresdenfiles

As for Lilly, I annoyed about what happened to her. I liked her as a character and I feel as though she had potential. I felt like her character was a waste. Blaming Dresden for her current life was a little harsh since he went through all that trouble to save her #dresdenfiles

Mab pissed me off in here. She should have handled Maeve earlier but she let it escalate to such a critical point. That whole situation was her fault and got people killed. Now we got new lady’s of winter and summer. I wonder how Tatiana will react? #dresdenfiles

I also didn’t like the fact Mab tried to twist Dresden intentions when he first helped Molly. Dresden always had Molly’s best interest and wanted to help her when she was in a bad spot, like he was. Mab trying to write him like a villain rubbed me the wrong way. #dresdenfiles

As for his relationships. Murphy and him is totally end game. I was skeptical at first and wasn’t sure how I felt about it but now I am on board. I was annoyed that she wanted to put off their relationship AGAIN , but I can understand the reasons. #dresdenfiles

As for Molly, it’s definitely a hell no for a serious relationship. I find it weird and kinda creepy. I like their mentor and student relationship and would like to keep it that way. Molly need to let it go because Dresden ain’t going for it. #dresdenfiles

Just been thinking about Mab behavior in CD. From the story, it gave us an humanistic perspective on how the Fae is similar to humans. It makes me think are they only I slaves to their nature, act on their emotions or both? Just some food for thought #dresdenfiles

Skin game was interesting. This book seems to try and make some new normalcy for Dresden. After Changes, Harry’s life been a rollercoaster and I think the author is trying to transition Harry back into Chicago society. #dresdenfiles

The last time we seen Nicki, Harry foiled his plans and almost killed him. Plus, Harry is way different since their last encounter was before Changes. Harry is more ruthless and won’t get played again by someone as smart as Nicodemus.Nicki will be licking his wounds #dresdenfiles

Though Harry best the nickleheads this round he was still being used by Mab and Marcohn. That was annoying but I doubt Harry can keep working for Mab though. Michael brought up a good point that if Harry don’t be what she wants, she going to get rid of him. #dresdenfiles

It was cool meeting Hades though. Such an interesting character and I hope to see more from him again. Also Goodmen Gray was a fun character too. He reminds of Kincaid because of his mercenary background. Also nice to see other characters reappear. #dresdenfiles

I loved seeing Michael again. He is such a great character and love his friendship with Harry. I hate he can’t really fight anymore but it was fun to see him in action again. When Uriel gave him the ability to help, that was such a great moment . #dresdenfiles

The ending with Harry and Murphy was so cute . I totally support them and glad they can find happiness together. Another cute scene is with Maggie and Harry sitting with Michael on the porch. That warmed my heart . #dresdenfiles

As for Molly, she is sorta the same but you can see slight changes. I hope this development goes ok because that can cause some serious drama lol. Molly as a character with through some drastic transformation in a fast pace. #dresdenfiles

Overall, this was a good book and this was a solid book for the characters that have new roles to play. I’m glad Harry has people that are reliable and don’t feel like he is the only one that has to save everyone. Skin game was an excellent edition to the series. #dresdenfiles
