Thinking about Terryl Givens' 2 Nephi book. While I think it's fair to call Givens (relatively) liberal among LDS scholars, do you think he's "liberal" in the sense that he takes historical critical scholarship seriously and uses it to drive his theological or scriptural work?
I would love it if you'd be willing to explain or expand on your answer!
And let's just say that so far (I'm almost done) I'm *super* frustrated w it, but I think my frustration may be productive.
