SOOOOOO as a veteran, a lefty, and someone very anti military industrial complex I need to chime in on the #AdamDriverIsOverParty sadly. I say sadly because its more of the same, and something we end up having to spend a TON of time talking about on my channels regularly.
So a lot of people run wild with the Anti military complex to be anti anyone and everyone who does or have served. Which is a big yikes from me for several reasons and a lot of long winded rants. however we are going to focus on the Adam driver specific situation, instead of
the whole rabbit hole. So Yea Adam Diver said he felt an urge to join and protect his country to fight back after 9/11. One of the MOST common post 9/11 reasons for people who weren't recruited out of poverty. However They were still VERY much recruited and in a predatory manner
just like so many of us.

Did you all just forget post 9/11? Like seriously it wasn't even 24 hours later adds were rolling out, a WHOLE new wave of propaganda and glorification of service of protecting your loved ones at home. They urged people to feel vengeful, they WANTED
Young men quick to anger to take that bait and come rushing in. AND IT WORKED.

Then those people had to wake up through lived experiences and SO many of us did so. So instead of pretending hes cancelled cus you JUST learned he enlisted for those standard post 9/11 reasons, how
about we fucking cheer on that he woke up. That hes now outspoken about that remorse, that he says the wars that followed were a mistake and that hes not some angry hate filled killing machine.

Stop acting like vets are the enemy and start caring about them as the working class
