it’s fashion revolution week! in light of the current global health & economic crisis, it is more important than ever to be actively thinking about the ethics of the fashion supply chain & working towards a better future for our industry’s most vulnerable and exploited workers.
the mission of fashion revolution is to “unite people and organisations to work together towards radically changing the way our clothes are sourced, produced and consumed, so that our clothing is made in a safe, clean and fair way.”
this mission is now more relevant than ever - the covid19 crisis has lead to major brands dropping in sales & shutting down, without taking any responsibility for the already exploited garment workers that lack adequate workers’ protections, savings & healthcare.
