LAYOUT ONE
* this layout uses a split level QR code design from @yamaji_maya. please look at their twitter - the stairs come in white, black, brown, and pink!
* this is and EXCELLENT tool for beginners - it splits the room into manageable sections
LAYOUT TWO
* this layout highlights my favorite space taker... the tea table!!! throw it in any blank space you have in your room with some cushions and tadaaa!
* customize your cushions or place a misc. item that fits your scheme to bring it into the rest of the room
LAYOUT THREE
* this is sort of a faux split level layout
* do not be afraid to put things up against each other that you might normally not!
* the low table with the tv can be replaced with a console table or fireplace :)
LAYOUT FOUR
* for those that prefer a cleaner, less cluttered look
* a rug in the middle is like makeup for a living room
* here, i love using the lacy rug, the shell rug, or the medium round mats! pick one that fits your color scheme.
GENERAL TIPS - do& #39;s and don& #39;ts!
* DON& #39;T be afraid to mix and match different shades of furniture that are in the same family! not a living room, but as you can see here, i used three different shades of white/cream. the goal is to make it look like it& #39;s on purpose!
* DON& #39;T stick all of your furniture against the walls! don& #39;t be afraid to put a couch or table in the center - try using my layouts as a guideline and then move things around to your liking.
* DO pick one or two pieces that you really like and build the room around it. you can start with any piece! for example, here i chose the butterfly wall to highlight.. since it has white trees, i chose the white birch log series to complement it!
* DO use the item spreadsheet to find furniture that could possibly look good in your room. there might be a perfect piece you didn& #39;t even know existed! #gid=2031086626">https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1lLUmM5lEyq6Qu3cuKDJZLBcB_bhEcvSXKMdtC6bY3HQ/edit #gid=2031086626">https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...
that& #39;s it for part one! TL;DR get a tea table!!! please keep an eye out for my kitchen and bedroom guides and let me know if you have any questions!
