I took on the role of GM for the Cowboys and Bengals in the #WNSMock this weekend, here’s my results for the #Bengals!
1.1 Joe Burrow, QB, LSU.

Major stunner here right? This pick is a shoo-in but we shouldn’t overlook just how great this pick is because it’s so obvious. Burrow is a star. He’s one of the best QB prospects ever, an automatic face of the franchise for Cincinnati.
TRADE: 2.33 to JAX for 2.42, 4.140, 5.157.

2.42 Isaiah Wilson, OT, Georgia.

I wasn’t really feeling any of the options at 33, I was really targeting an OT and thought it was too rich for Wilson. Trading back allowed me to gain picks and still get the tackle I wanted.
3.65 Laviska Shenault Jr, WR, Colorado.

I was stunned to see Laviska sitting at 65, there was no way I was passing on him. He’s a real chess piece on the field, very similar to Deebo Samuel in that way. He’d be a great addition to an already good WR corps. This offense is fun.
4.107 Logan Stenberg, IOL, Kentucky.

I was planning on defense with this pick until I saw Stenberg still available. He’s the 54th player on my board with an Early 3rd round grade, I couldn’t pass on him with the need at IOL and the value at 107. Great motor on this guy.
4.140 Jason Strowbridge, DL, UNC.

Strowbridge shined in Mobile this January. He showcased his versatility, length and strength. He dominated in 1v1’s. This is about the range I’d expect him in, he can be moved around the line anywhere. Really good sleeper in this class.
4.147 Hunter Bryant, TE, Washington.

This is another good value pick to me. Tight end is a sneaky need for the Bengals, I’d be surprised if they didn’t take one at some point. Bryant is a good receiving TE, he’ll fall because of his history with knee injuries but he can play.
5.157 Justin Strnad, LB, Wake Forest.

This dude is one of my absolute favorite sleepers this year. Not the biggest guy but he’s got speed, athleticism and special teams value. He’s an older prospect at 23 with some limitations but he’s absolutely worthy of having a roster spot.
6.180 Kindle Vildor, CB, Georgia Southern.

This isn’t the biggest need for Cincinnati but a guy like Vildor is worth a shot here in the 6th. He’s a smaller corner who will probably be in the slot in the NFL, legit 4.4 speed and good productivity at Georgia Southern.
7.215 Cole McDonald, QB, Hawaii.

Joe Burrow and Cole McDonald in one QB room is as fun as it gets. McDonald also has some raw ability, if developed well he could have a consistent spot on an NFL roster. With an Andy Dalton trade likely they will have to find QB depth somewhere.
