List of great women that you might not heard of that sacrificed themselves in egypt fighting for there rights

On november 2011, Army attacked protestors for protesting against there reign. This angel was just fighting for her right and they beat her, threw her in jail and tortured her. All of this cause she protested for her rights

Sally Zahran, 23 year old. Enrolled at in the English department at the Faculty of Arts. Had no political affiliations. Was an advocate to raise min wage. On January 28th 2011 she passed away due to government thugs hitting her on the head with bludgeons

Shaymaa El sabagh, mother of two. On January 2015 she bought a bouquet of flowers and went to pay homage to the martyrs of revolution. She got shot by police and her husband had to pick her helpless body

Ome we 7abibty Laila Marzouk. The mother of khaled saeed, the beautiful soul that was killed by the police and erupted the revolution. Recently passed away In May 2019. And the government DENIED her a funeral in tahrir square or even a memorial.And she was burried in Pennsylvania

With all of the corruption and injustice in egypt, women suffer the most. They grow up in a culture where they are beaten, abused and see unfair treatments everyday. If you know a story of any one, feel free to add to this thread
