6 weeks ago tonight (March 9th), Tucker said that the flu had a 0.1% death rate and that Coronavirus is 3.4%.

Please find me a few countries/states that have both: Corona case count matches the flu in the US (14% of the population infected) and 3.4% of those infected being dead.

LA County has a population of 10 million. For @TuckerCarlson’s math to hold, it would be 1.4 million cases and 47,600 dead.

UCLA test results show that 331,500 have had Corona. Per Tucker’s math that would be 11,271 deaths. They have 617 deaths!

If we accept the UCLA results that 331,500 in LA County had Corona, the county’s 617 death is a CFR of 0.18%.

The flu is 0.1%

Thanks to Tucker/Fauci/IHME we assumed that Corona is 3X as contagious as the flu AND ALSO 34 X more deadlier. The math was never there that it’s both!

Wait. There is more. Just yesterday, Fauci said that many people who had Corona are not immune so we can’t open yet. Ok so this means that many more than 331K in LA had Corona.

The current frontier is to dismiss antibodies tests outright rather than giving it some cred despite the issues. Here is why:

Cuomo operated under the notion that NY will have 1 million cases latest mid April and 130K of those hospital; 30K ICUs. He says we didn’t need reach it

because mitigation worked. If tests show that 1-2 mill NYers already had Coronavirus it would mean mitigation didn’t work (hence we did reach the case count) and it will also mean that the 15% and 3% expectations were garbage (therefore no 30K ICU need despite so many cases).
